Major League Baseball suspended Willson Contreras for seven games for his actions during Tuesday night’s loss to the Nationals. MLB also suspended Nate Eaton for five games. Both players appealed their suspensions, which were scheduled to begin on Friday. MLB suspended Cade Cavalli of the Nationals for seven games and Miles Mikolas for five games. Both players also appealed their suspensions.
