Picks of the Day, 5/20

Randy Arozarena
Randy Arozarena is overdue for a home run.

Not an awful day yesterday. 2-1 with the White Sox moneyline, and CLEV/NYM over hit easily. I also took the over in the Cards/Dodgers game, mostly because the Cardinals had scored 8.7 runs per game over their last 7 games…of course they were shut out and the over was a bust. I can’t get too mad. It was a solid pick,

71-63 on the season. Going 3-0 today:
Pick #1
Diamondbacks @ Pirates, Total Runs over 8.5, -110
Hitting is contagious. After scoring 8 runs off Gallen in 3 innings last night the Bucs hitters must feel like the baseball looks like a beach ball. Confidence is key, and they face the immortal Brandon Pfaadt this afternoon.
Pick #2
A’s @ Astros, HOU Astros TEAM total runs over 5.5, +105
I like the Astros -1.5 run line, but the line sucks at -140. Astros have averaged 6 runs per game over their 5 game win streak. Bats are heating up, now they just need to get healthy.
Pick #3
Mariners @ Braves, 1st Inning Runs Over .5, -120
Ronald Acuna Jr is 20 for 40 with 13 runs, 8 doubles, and 2 Home Runs in the first inning this year. Braves are going with a bullpen game.
Bonus
Randy Arozarena to hit a home run, +370
He faces lefty Eric Lauer who has allowed 10 home runs in 39 innings. Plus, he’s due. Randy only has 1 HR in 13 games.
