The Milwaukee Brewers have won three of their last five games. They start a new series with the Cardinals tonight at Busch Stadium. The Brewers have an 18-15 record. They are in fourth place in the NL Central. They are three and a half games back from the Chicago Cubs. Today, they announced four roster moves as they get their star center fielder back to make his 2026 debut. They also welcome back a veteran first baseman and have sent two struggling bats out of Milwaukee.

Andrew Vaughn

The Milwaukee Brewers activated Andrew Vaughn from the ten-day injured list ahead of their series with the Cardinals. The First baseman has only played in one game for Milwaukee this season. He has one hit and one RBI in his four at-bats. During his three game rehad stint, Vaughn has two hits, one double, and struck out twice. Vaughn is returning from a left hamate fracture suffered on March 27th.

Jackson Chourio

The Brewers activated Jackson Chourio from the ten-day injured list today ahead of their game. Chourio is returning from his left hand fracture suffered on March 25th. He will make his 2026 debut this series against the Cardinals. Last season, Chourio slashed .270/.308/.463 with 21 home runs, 35 doubles, four triples, and 78 RBI.

Greg Jones

The Milwaukee Brewers have designated outfielder Greg Jones for assignment today. Jones played in 11 games for the Brewers this season. He had two hits in 21 at-bats. He drove in one run. Jones had a .095/.095/.095 slash line for Milwaukee.

Blake Perkins

The Milwaukee Brewers have optioned Blake Perkins to Triple-A today ahead of their game with St. Louis. The outfielder played in 19 games this season, slashing .109/.212/.174. He has three doubles and five RBI. He will head down to Triple-A to continue his season with the Nashville Sounds.
