The Atlanta Braves start a three-game series against the Colorado Rockies tonight. They’re coming off their 11th series win of the season as they took two out of three from the Detroit Tigers over the past week. The Braves, ahead of tonight’s game, reset their bullpen, designating right-handed pitchers Joel Payamps and Robert Suarez for assignment. To take their spots, they have recalled right-handed pitcher Hunter Stratton from Triple-A Gwinnett and selected the contract of right-handed pitcher Anthony Molina from Gwinnett.

Joel Payamps
Payamps’ this season in 12 appearances out of the bullpen is 0-2. He posts an 8.22 ERA, a 1.69 WHIP, and nine strikeouts in 7.2 innings. Payamps allowed two runs in 0.1 innings yesterday on two hits. He walked one and struck out one. He took the loss and suffered a blown save as the Braves led 2-1 when he entered.

Hunter Stratton
