Key News & Notes
Mickey Gasper was out tonight with groin tightness. Romy Gonzalez is coming back soon, as it’s reported he will start a rehab assignment on Tuesday. Not sure when he’s ready to be activated, who the odd man out will be. The Red Sox did say they’d find a spot for him, but you have to ask whether it will be Andruw Monasterio or Isiah Kiner-Falefa. Chad Tracy also commented on Brayan Bello’s first Triple-A start, saying, “Definitely some positives”. Bello pitched on Saturday, going four innings, allowing two runs on five hits. He didn’t issue a walk and struck out five.
