Patriots Three-Run Sixth Leads to Bounce Back Win over Reading
Reading, for the second straight game, took an early lead as Raylin Heredia doubled home a run and then a fielding error brought home two more to make it 3-0. Somerset got two back in the fourth on a Miguel Palma single to make it 3-2. In the sixth, Palma reached on a fielding error, which brought a run home, then Connor McGinnis singled home a run, and Owen Cobb drew a bases-loaded walk to make it 5-4 Somerset. McGinnis would double home a run in the eighth for some insurance as they beat the Fightin Phils 6-5. Both starters went five innings, allowing four runs, two earned.
Harrisburg Wins Second Straight Against Erie
The SeaWolves opened the scoring in the second on a Patrick Lee single, then a Joe Campagna double to lead 2-0. Harrisburg got a run in the third, fourth, and fifth to take a 3-2 lead. In the seventh, Kervin Pichardo hit his sixth home run, and in the ninth, Branden Boissiere singled home a run for a 5-2 win. Isaac Lyon went six innings for Harrisburg, allowing two runs on five hits. He walked one and struck out four, improving to 3-3. Seth Shurman picked up his first save of the season with two scoreless innings. Kenny Serwa for Erie took the loss, falling to 3-7 as he allowed three runs on six hits.

Game 1 – Sea Dogs & Fisher Cats combine for Five Home Runs as Portland takes game one
New Hampshire opened the scoring with a solo home run from Nick Goodwin. Portland tied it and took the lead as Johanfran Garcia hit a solo home run to tie it, then Miguel Bleis hit a solo home run to make it 2-1. Arjun Nimmala tied it for New Hampshire at 2-2 in the third. Ronald Rosario gave Portland a 3-2 lead in the fourth, and that was the final.

Dub Gleed doubled home a run to open the scoring in the second. Carter Cunningham hit a two-run home run to make it 3-0. They added to that lead as Eddie Micheletti Jr. drove home a run on a sacrifice fly, then in the third Patrick Winkel singled home a run and Victor Arias brought a run home on a double play to give New Hampshire a 6-0 lead. They won the game 6-2.
Altoona Scores Four Early to Beat Richmond
The Curve got on the board in the first as they scored on a wild pitch. In the second, Will Taylor singled home a run, then Shalin Polanco doubled home two runs and Keiner Delgado drove home a run with a sacrifice fly to make it 5-0. Richmond got on the board in the third on a sacrifice fly from Parks Harber and a three-run home run from Sabin Ceballos, making it 5-4. In the fourth, Lonnie White homered, and Delgado singled home a run, then Duce Gourson doubled home a run to make it 8-5. Richmond scored again, but that was it, as it ended 8-5.
Akron Scores Seven Late to Beat Chesapeake
The Baysox held a 2-1 lead entering the bottom of the sixth; that’s when Akron broke it open. Jose Devers tripled home two to give the RubberDucks the lead 3-2. Jonah Advincula hit a two-run home run to add to that lead. In the seventh, they added to that lead as Bennett Thompson singled home two runs, and he would later score on a wild pitch to make it 8-2, which was the final. Josh Hartle went five innings, allowing two runs on four hits. He walked three and struck out five. Juaron Watts-Brown pitched well for Chesapeake, going five innings, allowing a run on four hits. He walked one and struck out eight.
Hartford dominated Binghamton after a loss to start the series
Hartford scored six in the second as Cole Messina doubled home a run, then GJ Hill doubled home Messina. Jose Torres hit a three-run home run, and Dyan Jorge drove home a run on a sacrifice fly to make it 6-0. They added four more in the fifth as Jorge walked home a run, Braylen Wimmer singled home two, and Skyler Messinger singled home a run to make it 12-1. Binghamton added two more in the sixth. Hartford scored in the eighth, and Binghamton scored in the ninth, with the final score 13-4. Connor Staine pitched five innings for Hartford, allowing a run on eight hits. He walked two and struck out four.
