New Hampshire Fisher Cats Beat Binghamton Rumble Ponies In Extras

A scoreless game through eight innings saw chaos in the final three innings. Each team scored a run in the ninth, then three more in the tenth before the Fisher Cats scored in the 11th on an RBI single by Victor Arias. Caleb Freeman shut the door by sending the Rumble Ponies down 1-2-3 with a strikeout in the 11th. Danny Thimpson Jr. got the start for New Hampshire, going five innings without allowing a run on a hit. He walked two and struck out four. RJ Gordon went 4.2 innings, allowing two hits and no runs. He walked two and struck out four.

Erie SeaWolves Shut Out Harrisburg Senators for Second Straight Game

The second game in a row saw Erie shut out Harrisburg. Andrew Sears went four innings, allowing a run, a walk, and striking out five. Andrew Jenkins drove in two. Harrisburg only had four hits in the 5-0 loss.

Somerset Scores Three in the Eighth to beat Portland

Portland led 4-3 in the eighth, but an RBI groundout by Kevin Verde tied the game, and a Connor McGinnis two-run home run gave the Patriots the lead. Anthony Eyanson went four scoreless innings for Portland, allowing three hits. He walked one and struck out five. Franklin Arias led the Sea Dogs, going 3-5 with an RBI and two runs scored. Jace Avina led Somerset, going 3-5 with two RBI.

Akron RubberDucks Break Tie in Eighth, Beat Altoona Curve

The game was tied 3-3 in the bottom of the eighth when Jose Devers hit a solo home run to right-center field, giving Akron the win in the finale. Devers finished the day going 3-4. Caden Favors got the start for Akron, going 4.2 innings, allowing two runs on five hits. He walked one and struck out six. Matt Jachec got the win to improve to 2-0 as he went 1.1 scoreless innings. He didn’t allow a baserunner and struck out one. Treyson Peters took the loss, going two innings, allowing the home run to Devers. He allowed three hits, no walks, and struck out one.

Chesapeake Baysox Shut Out Richmond Flying Squirrels

Aron Estrada led the way for Chesapeake, going 3-4 with five RBI. He singled home two in the first, doubled home two in the fifth, and hit a solo home run in the seventh. Cade Povich got the start, going 3.1 scoreless innings, allowing a hit, no walks, and striking out three. Sebastian Gongora went the final five innings. He didn’t allow a run on two hits. He walked two and struck out three. Greg Farone got the start for Richmond, taking the loss, going four innings, allowing four runs on five hits. He walked three and struck out four.

Hartford Yard Goats Score Four in Fifth to Beat Reading Fightin Phils

Hartford in the fifth got a solo home run by GJ Hill to tie the game at 4-4. Conner Capel doubled home a run to give the Yard Goats the lead. Bryant Bethancourt hit a two-run homer to make it 7-4. Jean Cabrera struggled for Reading, going 4.2 innings, allowing six runs on six hits. They didn’t issue a walk and struck out two. Pedro Leon led the Fightin Phils, driving in three.
