The Detroit Tigers tonight play the second game of their three-game series with the Atlanta Braves. The Braves won last night’s game 5-2 to start the series. The Tigers suffered more than the loss in the game as they saw Casey Mize and Javier Baez each leave the game. Mize left with right groin tightness, while Baez was carted off after a play at first base. Today they Tigers placed Javier Baez on the injured list and recalled infielder Jace Jung from Triple-A Toledo. Mize was also placed on the 15-day injured list, and the Tigers recalled left-handed pitcher Enmanuel De Jeus.
