This morning, MLB Pipeline updated its top-100 prospects. The Detroit Tigers have three players on the list. First is outfielder Max Clark, who comes in at 14th. Second is shortstop Bryce Rainer, who comes in at 42nd. Finally, catcher/first baseman Josue Briceno who is 60th overall. Clark is playing at Triple-A Toledo, Rainer is at High-A West Michigan, and Briceno is in rookie ball, rehabbing from an injury.

Clark, the Tigers’ third overall pick in 2023, has played in 70 games at Toledo. He is hitting .265 with a .740 OPS. He has 15 doubles, two triples, six home runs, 32 RBI, 49 runs scored, and 17 stolen bases. He’s tied for 11th in runs scored in the International League and tied for 16th in stolen bases.
Rainer has spent time between Single-A Lakeland and High-A West Michigan. In 60 games combined, he’s hitting .259 with a .825 OPS. He has 14 doubles, a triple, nine home runs, 41 RBI, 34 runs scored, and 14 stolen bases. Since earning his promotion to the Whitecaps, he has appeared in 49 games and hit .281 with an .883 OPS. He has 11 doubles, a triple, eight home runs, 36 RBI, 29 runs scored, and ten stolen bases.
Briceno had undergone surgery to repair a tendon and made his return yesterday, going 0-3. Rain forced the postponement of today’s game against the FCL Yankees.
