USA vs. Giants
Scoring
The USA got the scoring started after a Bobby Witt Jr. single and a Bryce Harper double. Aaron Judge drove both home with a single to make it 2-0. The Giants got one back in the bottom of the first as Willy Adames led off with a double. He would be moved over to third and then scored on a Patrick Bailey groundout. In the top of the fourth, the USA added to its lead as Alex Bregman hit a solo home run. At the top of the fifth, the USA continued to add on. It started with back-to-back singles from Brice Turang and Witt Jr., both advanced on a throwing error by the pitcher. Harper then singled both home to make it 5-1. In the sixth, the USA was back at it.
Cal Raleigh led off the inning with a walk, then Romano Anthony hit a two-run home run to make it 7-1. In the seventh, Team USA broke it open, Giants prospect Charlie Szykowny suiting up for USA doubled home Pete Crow-Armstrong to make it 8-1. Another Giants prospect Dakota Jordan singled home Szykowny. Gavin Kilen singled home Ernie Clement. The USA didn’t stop as Gunnar Henderson doubled home two more to make it 12-1. Crow-Armstrong then doubled home Henderson. In the top of the ninth Raleigh singled home two more to make it 15-1 USA.
Pitching

Paul Skenes got the start, going three innings, giving up a run. He didn’t issue a walk and struck out four. Matthew Boyd was first out of the bullpen for Team USA. He went 2.2 innings allowing just two hits and striking out four. R.J. Dabovich a prospect for the Giants came in for Team USA. He allowed a hit and got the last out. David Bednar got the seventh with Mason Miller getting the eighth. Neither allowed a base runner and Miller had a strikeout. Griffin Jax got the ninth. He allowed a leadoff double but that’s it allowing one hit and striking out one. Team USA wanted to get Gabe Speier work so the game went ten innings. Speier allowed one hit and a walk; he struck out two.
San Francisco
Adrian Houser went three innings, giving up two runs on three hits. He walked two and struck out three. Blade Tidwell came in for the Giants; he lasted 2.2 innings, giving up five runs on six hits. He walked two and struck out two. Ricardo Estrada finished off the sixth for the Giants. Matt Gage started the seventh but he struggled allowing five runs, one earned on three hits. He walked one and struck out one. Greg Farone came on to end the inning but not before he allowed a run on two hits. Farone also walked one. Will Bednar got the eighth for the Giants allowing a walk and a hit; he did strike out one. Trent Harris had the ninth and allowed two runs on three hits. He walked one and struck out three. Braxton Braxton Roxby got the tenth allowing just a hit.

The USA will face the Colorado Rockies tomorrow in their final tune-up game. The Giants will face the Mariners tomorrow night.
