The Seattle Mariners play the third game of their four-game series against the Houston Astros tonight. They took the first two games of the series, outscoring Houston 13-3. They won last night 10-2. Ahead of tonight’s game, they activated right-handed pitcher Bryce Miller from the 15-day injured list, and to make room for Miller, they designated left-handed pitcher Jose Suarez for assignment. Miller will get the start tonight against the Astros as he faces Lance McCullers Jr. Tonight’s start will be Miller’s season debut, as he was placed on the injured list on March 25th with a left oblique strain. He made four rehab appearances between Triple-A and High-A, going 1-0 with a 1.98 ERA, a 1.17 WHIP, and 14 strikeouts in 13.2 innings.
