Probable Starting Pitchers

Game 1: Bailey Falter (0-1, 8.10 ERA) vs. Brady Singer (2-0, 2.25 ERA)

Falter gets the ball in game one for the Pirates. He lost his last outing against the Yankees. He pitched four innings, gave up seven hits, seven runs, two home runs, and struck out five. Singer will go for the Reds. In his last outing, he pitched five innings and gave up five hits. He allowed three runs, one walk, and struck out seven. He beat the Brewers for his second win of the year.

Game 2: Andrew Heaney (0-0, 1.50 ERA) vs. TBD (0-0, 8.44 ERA)

Heaney will pitch game two for the Pirates. He went seven innings in his last start against the Yankees. Heaney allowed five hits, one run, one walk, and struck out 10. The Reds have yet to announce a starter for Saturday. Andrew Abbott could get the call-up from his rehab stint to the start for the Reds. It would be his first start of 2025.

Game 3: Carmen Mlodzinki (1-1, 5.19 ERA) vs. Hunter Greene (1-1, 1.31 ERA)

Mlodzinki will take the ball in game three for the Pirates. He got the win last time out against the Cardinals. Mlodzinski allowed five hits, one run, two walks, and struck out six over five innings of work. Greene will take the hill for the Reds. Greene was one out shy of a complete game last time out, beating the Giants. He allowed four hits, one walk, and struck out seven.

Pittsburgh Pirates
