During tonight’s game against the Reds catcher Joey Bart left due to lower back discomfort. He was being treated by the Pirates medical staff. He is currently day-to-day. Bart and Endy Rodriguez collided in Wednesday’s win over the Cardinals. Not sure if the injury coincided with tonight’s. Bart this season was hitting .275 with a .795 OPS. He had a double, a triple, a home run, five RBI, four runs scored, four walks, and a stolen base. A tough loss for the Pirates if he has to miss significant time.
