The Minnesota Twins have just two spring training games left. They will open their season with the Baltimore Orioles on the road. The Twins will play two more games against the Boston Red Sox before heading to Baltimore. This Spring has not gone well, record-wise, for the Minnesota Twins with a 9-18 record. Before the first pitch with the Red Sox, the Twins made two roster moves today. They are continuing to shape the opening day roster.

Ryan Kreidler

The Minnesota Twins have optioned Outfielder Ryan Kreidler to Triple-A to start his season with the St. Paul Saints. Kreidler played in 17 games this spring for the Twins. He had a slash line of .54/.233/.231 with one home run, one RBI, and struck out 11 times. Last season Kreidler played in 17 games for the Detroit Tigers. He struggled with a .105/.190/.105 slash line. He spent the majority of his 2025 season split between the Toledo Mud Hens and Indianapolis Indians in Triple-A. Overall, last year at Triple-A Kreidler had 27 doubles, four triples, five home runs, 38 RBI, and slashed .238/.363/.389 in 99 games.

Eric Wagaman

The Minnesota Twins have optioned First baseman Eric Wagaman to Triple-A today. This move comes ahead of their spring training game with the Red Sox. This spring, in 18 games, Wagaman had one home run, three RBI, 13 strikeouts, and slashed .256/.341/.333. Wagaman played in 140 games for the Miami Marlins in 2025. He slashed .250/.296/.378 with 28 doubles, three triples, nine home runs, and 53 RBI.
