ITD’s Top 10 Prospects Check In 4/29-5/5

The Top Ten Prospects by ITD are mixed across different levels from Triple-A to Single-A. Let’s see how they did this past week and how they are performing this season.

ITD’s Top 10 Prospects

2B/SS – Jackson Holliday – AAA – Baltimore Orioles

Holliday played in six games last week going 5-22 with three doubles, three RBI, four runs scored, and eight walks. In Triple-A this season he is hitting .278 with a .928 OPS; he has two home runs 12 RBI, and one stolen base.

RHP – Paul Skenes – AAA – Pittsburgh Pirates

Skenes made his sixth start of the season on Tuesday going six innings, he didn’t allow a run on four hits; he walked one and struck out seven. On Sunday he made his seventh start going 4.1 innings, he allowed two runs on three hits; walked two, and struck out four. This season he hasn’t gotten a decision but he has a 0.99 ERA, a 0.91 WHIP, and 45 strikeouts in 27.1 innings.

OF – Wyatt Langford – MLB – Texas Rangers

Langford suffered an injury on Saturday and he will miss three to four weeks with a hamstring strain. Before the injury, he had played in four games last week going 1-15. This season he is hitting .224 with a .588 OPS; he has one home run which was an inside-the-park home run, 11 RBI, and one stolen base.

OF – Dylan Crews – AA – Washington Nationals

Crews last week went 3-16 with a double, two triples, four RBI, three runs scored, and two walks. This season he is hitting .230 with a .730 OPS; he has two home runs, 15 RBI, and two stolen bases.

OF – Jackson Chourio – MLB – Milwaukee Brewers

Chourio is up with the Brewers and last week in five games he went 4-11 with four runs scored, two stolen bases, and a walk. He is hitting .219 with a .617 OPS; he has four home runs, 13 RBI, and six stolen bases.

3B/SS – Junior Caminero – AAA – Tampa Bay Rays

Caminero played in five games last week going 7-20 with a double, two home runs, four RBI, three runs scored, and a walk. He is hitting .324 with a 1.040 OPS; he has six home runs, 16 RBI, and a stolen base. It’s only a matter of time till the Rays call him up

C – Ethan Salas – A+ – San Diego Padres

Salas last week went 3-24 in six games with an RBI, and a stolen base. This season the 17-year-old has struggled hitting .190 with a .534 OPS; he has seven RBI and four stolen bases.

OF – James Wood – AAA – Washington Nationals

Wood last week went 7-23 with a double, three RBI, three runs scored a stolen base, and four walks. This season he is hitting .325 with an .895 OPS; he has two home runs, 11 RBI, and eight stolen bases.

SS – Jordan Lawlar – AAA – Arizona Diamondbacks

Lawlar is out for two months at least after right thumb surgery.

OF – Max Clark – A – Detroit Tigers

Clark last week played in five games going 2-18 with a triple, two RBI, two runs scored, two stolen bases, and five walks. This season he is hitting .244 with a .705 OPS; he has one home run, 15 RBI, and eight stolen bases.
