The Cincinnati Reds have a 32-34 record after last night’s win over the Padres. The Cincinnati Reds are nine and a half games back fromt he division leading Brewers entering play today. Brady Singer will take the mound for the Reds today while the Padres send out Michael King. Before today’s series finale with the Padres, the Reds announced two roster moves impacting their pitching staff. They have recalled Chase Petty from Louisville and are sending down Zach McCrambley.

The Cincinnati Reds have recalled Chase Petty from Triple-A. Petty has made two starts this year for Cincinnati with a 5.91 ERA and a 1.22 WHIP. He has allowed ten hits, seven earned runs, and two home runs. Additionally, he has given up three walks. He has struck out two in ten and two-thirds innings pitched. Petty has two wins and five losses for the Louisville Bats in Triple-A this year. He has 43 strikeouts and a 6.17 ERA in ten starts

Zach McCambley

The Reds have optioned Zach McCambley back to Triple-A today before their series finale with the Padres.McCrombley has pitched in three games for the Reds this year. He has allowed six hits, three earned runs, two walks, and struck out four through four innings pitched. He heads back to Triple-A with a 6.75 ERA and 2.00 WHIP.
