Toronto Blue Jays Down On The Farm 5/6– 5/12

The Toronto Blue Jays Triple-A affiliate is a series against the Worcester Red Sox who are the Triple-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox and they took five of their seven games. The Blue Jays Double-A affiliate the New Hampshire Fisher Cats are coming off a series against the Nationals Double-A affiliate the Harrisburg Senators and they took only two of their six games. The High-A affiliate the Vancouver Canadiens are coming off a series split against the Everett AquaSox. The Single-A affiliate the Dunedin Blue Jays are coming off a series loss against the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels winning only two of the six games.

Toronto Blue Jays Top 10 Prospects Check-In

LHP – Ricky Tiedemann – Buffalo Bisons

Tiedemann is on the 7-day injured list. This season he is 0-1 in three starts with a 5.63 ERA, a 2.00 WHIP, and ten strikeouts in eight innings.

SS – Orelvis Martinez – Buffalo Bisons

Martinez last week went 2-15 with two home runs, six RBI, three runs scored, and four walks. This season he is hitting .277 with a .931 OPS; he has ten home runs, 30 RBI, and 31 runs scored.

SS – Arjun Nimmala – Dunedin Blue Jays

Nimmala went 2-18 with a home run, two RBI, two runs scored, two walks, and a stolen base. This season he is struggling hitting .167 with a .586 OPS; he has three home runs, eight RBI, and 13 runs scored.

3B – Addison Barger – Buffalo Bisons

Barger is back in Buffalo following a brief stint in Toronto, he would go 2-16 with a double, a run scored, four walks, and a stolen base. He is hitting .279 in Buffalo with a .922 OPS; he had three home runs, 21 RBI, and 18 runs scored.

SS – Leo Jimenez – Buffalo Bisons

Jimenez last week went 5-19 with a double, two home runs, three RBI, seven runs scored, and four walks. This season he is hitting .237 with a .805 OPS; he has four home runs, 11 RBI, and 25 runs scored.

OF – Alan Roden – New Hampshire Fisher Cats

Roden played in five games last week going 1-21 with a run scored and a walk. This season he is hitting .241 with a .686 OPS; he has two home runs, 16 RBI<, and 13 runs scored.

SS – Josh Kasevich – New Hampshire Fisher Cats

Kasevich went 6-21 with two runs scored, and a walk. He is hitting .330 which is the third-best average in the Eastern League with a .796 OPS; he has one home run, 20 RBI, and 13 runs scored.

LHP – Adam Macko – New Hampshire Fisher Cats

Macko got the start on Thursday and suffered the loss going five innings giving up two runs on four hits; he didn’t issue a walk and struck out seven. He is now 0-2 through six starts with a 4.50 ERA, a 1.29 WHIP, and 32 strikeouts in 28 innings.

2B – Cade Doughty – New Hampshire Fisher Cats

Doughty is still on the 7-day injured list. Through four games he had gone 3-10 with an RBI and four runs scored.

RHP – Chad Dallas – Buffalo Bisons

Dallas got the start on Wednesday getting his first win of the season going five innings giving up two runs on three hits; he walked one and struck out five. Through seven starts now he is 1-2 with a 7.16 ERA, a 1.81 WHIP, and 23 strikeouts in 32.2 innings.
