Bradley Blalock

The Marlins acquired Blalock in January from the Colorado Rockies. This spring, in three games, he’s 0-1 with a 5.79 ERA, a 1.50 WHIP, and three strikeouts in 4.2 innings. In 21 career big league appearances, with 18 of those coming as starts, he went 3-9. Blacklock has an 8.16 ERA, a 1.83 WHIP, and 47 strikeouts in 89.1 innings.

Garrett Acton

The Marlins claimed Acton off waivers from the Rockies back in February. It was Acton’s second time on waivers this offseason. Colorado claimed him back on November 6th from the Tampa Bay Rays. Acton, this spring in six games, has allowed one unearned run on no hits; he’s walked four and struck out six in 5.1 innings.

Jake Clemente

The Marlins drafted Clemente out of Florida back in the seventh round of last summer’s MLB Draft. In two seasons at Florida, he made 40 appearances with seven of those coming as starts, going 4-1 with a 4.10 ERA, a 1.28 WHIP, and 116 strikeouts in 83.1 innings. He made his debut for the Marlins at Single-A Jupiter, where in five games he didn’t allow a run on four hits; he walked three and struck out nine in 8.1 innings. Clemente is a native of Coral Springs, FL.
