Miami Marlins Roster Transactions | Inside The Diamonds

The Miami Marlins are currently playing the Colorado Rockies and are trailing 1-0. The Marlins have Eury Perez making his 2026 debut on the mound today. Before the game, the Marlins placed outfielder Christopher Morel on the 10-day injured list retroactive to March 25th with a left oblique strain. To take Morel’s spot on the roster, the Marlins recalled infielder Deyvison De Los Santos from Triple-A Jacksonville.

Christopher Morel

Morel, this spring, in 16 games, hit .150 with a .439 OPS. He had a triple, five RBI, and a stolen base. The Marlins signed Morel on December 18th. He spent last season with the Rays, where in 105 games he hit .219 with a .684 OPS. He had 16 doubles, 11 home runs, 33 RBI, 37 runs scored, and seven stolen bases. The Rays acquired him from the Cubs in 2024 during the trade deadline.

Deyvison De Los Santos

De Los Santos appeared in yesterday’s season opener for Triple-A, going 2-4 with a home run, three RBI, and two runs scored. Last season, across three levels in the Marlins system, he played in 111 games, hitting .240 with a .672 OPS. He had 11 doubles, a triple, 12 home runs, 54 RBI, 57 runs scored, and 16 stolen bases. He was acquired by the Marlins during the 2024 season from the Arizona Diamondbacks.
