Mitch Spence

The Royals have recalled the right-handed pitcher from Triple-A before today’s game with the White Sox. Spence has made one start this year for the Storm Chasers, pitching five innings and earning the win. He gave up four hits, one unearned run, and struck out one in the victory.

Luinder Avila

The Royals have optioned Luinder Avila to Triple-A today. The right-handed pitcher will continue his year with the Omaha Storm Chasers. He appeared in two games for the Royals this year with one start. He has one loss and a 9.00 ERA. Luinder pitched six innings for the Royals and recorded six strikeouts.

Eli Morgan

The Royals have recalled right-handed pitcher Eli Morgan from Triple-A today. Morgan has pitched in two games for Omaha this year with a 0.00 ERA, 0.00 WHIP, and six strikeouts through three and one-third innings pitched.
