The Atlanta Braves are off today as they return home for a three-game series against the Chicago Cubs tomorrow night. The Braves took two of three from the Dodgers over the weekend, outscoring them 15-7. The Braves improved to 6-3 in May, averaging 5.7 runs per game while allowing 3.3 runs per game. Today, despite being off, they activated shortstop Ha-Seong Kim from the 10-day injured list. They also placed outfielder Eli White on the 7-day injured list with a concussion.

Ha-Seong Kim

Kim has yet to play for the Braves this season. In 24 games last season with Atlanta, he hit .253 with a .684 OPS. He had a double, three home runs, 12 RBI, and 14 runs scored. He’s appeared in nine games during his rehab stint, hitting .286 with a .733 OPS. He has a double, an RBI, six runs scored, and a stolen base. Five of those nine games came at Triple-A Gwinnett while the other four came at Double-A Columbus. In his first game with the Stripers, he hit .263 with a .649 OPS. He had a double, an RBI, and three runs scored.

Eli White

White, in 26 games this season, is hitting .237 with a .648 OPS. He has a double, a triple, two home runs, ten RBI, eight runs scored, and a stolen base in his lone attempt. The 31-year-old utility player is in his fourth season with the Braves.
