Key News & Notes

Things are not going well in MoTown as the Tigers have dropped seven of their last eight games. During that, they’re averaging 2.3 runs per game while allowing 5.3 runs per game. They’re 4-13 in May, and they need to get things right before this season that had promise completely slips away. They did get great news as Tarik Skubal threw yesterday. He may be nearing a return soon to provide a boost. Will Vest, in his first game back last night, pitched a scoreless inning; he didn’t allow a base-runner and struck out one.
