The Colorado Rockies have started their season out 1-4. They will play the rubber game with the Toronto Blue Jays this afternoon. Kyle Freeland will pitch for the Rockies. Kevin Gausman will start for the Blue Jays. The game begins at 1:07 EST at Rogers Centre. Before the start of today’s game, the Colorado Rockies announced two roster moves. They will be activating Tyler Freeman and have optioned Braxton Fulford back to Triple-A.

Tyler Freeman

Tyler Freeman has been activated from the 10-day injured list today ahead of the game with the Blue Jays. Freeman was off to a good start this spring with a slash line of .300/.440/.400 in eight games for Colorado before getting injured. Freeman had two doubles, two RBI, two stolen bases, and four runs scored. In 110 games last year with the Rockies, Freeman had a .281/.354/.361 slash line. Freeman had 20 doubles, two triples, two home runs, 31 RBI, and 18 steals. Freeman was on the injured list due to a left oblique strain.

Braxton Fulford

The Colorado Rockies have optioned Braxton Fulford back to Triple-A, where he will continue his season with the Albuquerque Isotopes. Fulford played well in his short stint with the Rockies. He played in three games with one home run, two RBI, and slashed .400/.400/1.000. Last season with the Isotopes in Triple-A, he hit 13 home runs with 37 RBI in 43 games. Fulford, a right-handed bat, played his two games from the DH position this season with Colorado.
