The Cincinnati Reds dropped an extra-inning game to the Milwaukee Brewers last night, which snapped their two-game winning streak. Ahead of tonight’s game, they are activating shortstop Elly De La Cruz from the injured list. To make room for De La Cruz, they’re optioning outfielder Will Benson to Triple-A Louisville. They are also sending right-handed pitcher Hunter Greene on a rehab assignment to Triple-A Louisville. Greene will pitch tonight against the St. Paul Saints.
