The Boston Red Sox will play the second game of their three-game series tonight against the New York Yankees. The Red Sox suffered a 4-0 loss to their American League East rival last night to start the series. The Red Sox are reportedly calling up left-handed prospect Eduardo Rivera from Double-A Portland. Rivera will serve as a long man for a tired bullpen. To make room for Rivera, the Red Sox optioned Jack Anderson to Triple-A Worcester, and to make a 40-man spot on the roster, they shifted first baseman Triston Casas to the 60-day injured list.
