Skenes gets the ball for the USA. In his first start he faced Mexico. He went four innings allowing one hit and one walk; he struck out seven and picked up the win. Severino in hose first start faced the Netherlands. He also got the win going four innings allowing one run on three hits; he didn’t issue a walk and struck out five.

Cal Raleigh, if Team USA wants to beat the most offensive team in the tournament then they’ll need one of their big bats to have his best game. Raleigh has struggled in the tournament. He’s still looking for his first hit as he’s gone 0-9 with an RBI, four runs scored, and four walks. He had 60 home runs last season to lead all of baseball, USA will need him big time tonight.

Dominican Republic:

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. continues to play in big games and he continues to show up time and time again. This tournament he’s hitting .500 with a 1.600 OPS. He has two doubles, two home runs, eight RBI, and five runs scored.
