Logan Webb gets the ball to start the World Baseball Classic for Team USA. This spring, in two starts for the Giants, he’s 2-0 with a 1.80 ERA, a 0.40 WHIP, and seven strikeouts in five innings. In 34 starts last season, he went 15-11 with a 3.22 ERA, a 2.60 FIP, a 1.24 WHIP, and 224 strikeouts in 207 innings.

Bo Takahashi gets the ball for Brazil. In his one start during the qualifiers, he suffered a loss, giving up one run on five hits; he struck out three in 2.1 innings. Last season, he pitched in Japan, where he made 23 appearances, going 2-5 with a 3.66 ERA, a 1.44 WHIP, and 38 strikeouts in 64 innings.

Aaron Judge, Captain America, is coming off his second straight MVP. This spring in five games, he’s hitting .273 with a 1.285 OPS. He has two home runs, four RBI, and five runs scored. Last season, in 152 games, he hit .331 with a 1.144 OPS. Judge had 30 doubles, two triples, 53 home runs, 114 RBI, and 137 runs scored.

Brazil:

Lucas Ramirez, the son of a baseball legend, Manny Ramirez, is on the Brazil roster. In three qualifying games, he hit .385 with a .846 OPS. He had a double, two RBI, and three runs scored. He’s currently in the Angels system, where last season, between rookie ball and High-A, he played in 60 games, hitting .266 with a .772 OPS. He had eight doubles, six triples, three home runs, 30 RBI, and 36 runs scored.
