Toronto Blue Jays Prospect Check-In: Week 4

The Toronto Blue Jays this past week faced the Pittsburgh Pirates, Minnesota Twins twice, Detroit Tigers, Philadelphia Phillies, and Baltimore Orioles. They beat the Pirates, and the Twins twice, losing to the Tigers, Yankees, and Orioles, and tied the Phillies to go 3-3-1 and they brought their record to 11-12-2

Toronto Blue Jays Top 10 Prospects Check-In

LHP – Ricky Tiedemann

Tiedemann pitched on Friday going 2.1 innings giving up two runs on three hits; he walked one and struck out one. This spring he is 0-0 with a 7.36 ERA, a 1.64 WHIP, and three strikeouts in 3.2 innings.

SS – Orelvis Martinez

Martinez was optioned to Minor League camp. This spring he hit .188 with a .566 OPS; he had two RBI, and a run scored.

SS – Arjun Nimmala

Nimmala is not playing for the Blue Jays at Dunedin. Nimmala played in the spring breakout game going 0-1 with a strikeout.

3B – Addison Barger

Barger is no longer at camp. This spring in seven games he hit .357 with a .929 OPS; he had three runs scored, and a stolen base. Barger went 1-2 in the Spring Breakout game with a triple.

SS – Leo Jimenez

Jimenez played in one game this week going 0-1. This spring he is hitting .154 with a .421 OPS; he has two runs scored. Jimenez went 0-1 with a strikeout in the Spring Breakout game.

OF – Alan Roden

Roden played twice this week going 1-4 with a walk and a run scored. This spring he is hitting .250 with a .875 OPS; he has two home runs, six RBI, and five runs scored. Roden went 0-1 in the Spring Breakout game.

SS – Josh Kasevich

Kasevich played in two games last week going 1-2 with a run scored, and a double. This spring he is hitting .222 with a .697 OPS; he has an RBI, and four runs scored. Kasevich went 0-1 with a strikeout in the Spring Breakout game.

LHP – Adam Macko

Macko is not with the Blue Jays in Dunedin. Macko got the start in the Spring Breakout game going 0.2 innings giving up two runs on three hits; he walked one and struck out one.

2B – Cade Dougherty

Dougherty is not with the Blue Jays in Dunedin.

RHP – Chad Dallas

Dallas ended his spring with the Blue Jays appearing in three games with an 8.31 ERA, a 1.85 WHIP, and seven strikeouts in 4.1 innings.
