Toronto Blue Jays Down On The Farm 4/2 – 4/7

The Toronto Blue Jays Triple-A affiliate had a series against the Worcester Red Sox who are the Triple-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox and they took four of the five games. The Blue Jays Double-A affiliate the New Hampshire Fisher Cats are coming off a series against the Mets Double-A affiliate the Binghamton Rumble Ponies taking two of the three games. The High-A affiliate the Vancouver Canadiens are coming off a series against the Spokane Indians and they dropped all three games. The Single-A affiliate the Dunedin Blue Jays are coming off a series against the Lakeland Flying Tigers and they won two of the three games.

Toronto Blue Jays Top 10 Prospects Check-In

LHP – Ricky Tiedemann – Buffalo Bisons

Tiedemann got the ball in the first game of Friday’s doubleheader making his second start of the season. He suffered the loss going 1.2 innings giving up two runs on one hit; he walked four and failed to record a strikeout. Through two starts he is 0-1 with a 6.23 ERA, a 2.31 WHIP, and three strikeouts In 4.1 innings.

SS – Orelvis Martinez – Buffalo Bisons

Martinez played in four of the five games going 6-16 with two doubles, an RBI, five runs scored, and a walk. This season he is hitting .296 with a .752 OPS; he has one RBI.

SS – Arjun Nimmala – Dunedin Blue Jays

Nimmala played in all three games going 4-12 with a home run, three RBI, three runs scored, a stolen base, and a walk.

3B – Addison Barger – Buffalo Bisons

Barger played in all five games going 7-18 with two doubles, one home run, six RBI, five RBI, and five walks. This season he is hitting .290 with an .889 OPS; he has one home run and eight RBI.

SS – Leo Jimenez – Buffalo Bisons

Macko made his first start on Sunday going four innings picking up the win giving up three runs on two hits; he walked two and struck out six.

2B – Cade Doughty – Dunedin Blue Jays

Doughty played in one game going 0-1 with two walks and two runs scored.

RHP – Chad Dallas – Buffalo Bisons

Dallas made his second start of the season going four innings giving up six runs on six hits; he walked three and struck out three. This season he is 0-0 with a 9.00 ERA, a 1.89 WHIP, and five strikeouts in nine innings.
