Ahead of tonight’s game, they have sent their 21st ranked prospect by MLB Pipeline Jorbit Vivas to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Vivas this spring in nine games hit .435 with a .957 OPS. He had two doubles, three RBI, and two runs scored. The Yankees acquired him in a trade with the Los Angeles Dodgers before last season. Vivas spent last season with Single-A Tampa, High-A Hudson Valley, and Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. In four games at Tampa he hit .091 with a .424 OPS. He had two runs scored. He played in four games at Hudson Valley hitting .313 with a .764 OPS. Vivas had a double, five RBI, and four runs scored. In 93 games with the RailRiders he hit .225 with a .713 OPS. Vivas had 18 doubles, two triples, nine home runs, 45 RBI, and 57 runs scored.
