Probable Starting Pitchers

Game 1: Davis Martin (1-2, 4.84 ERA) vs. Bailey Ober (1-1, 6.16 ERA)

Martin will start game one for the White Sox. In his last start he suffered a loss to the Athletics. Martin pitched 5.1 innings allowing eight hits, four runs, two home runs, one walk, and struck out three. Ober will get the start for the Twins. He beat the Mets the last game out. Ober pitched 6.1 innings allowed five hits, three runs, two home runs, and struck out five.

Game 2: TBD (0-0, 0.00 ERA) vs. David Festa (0-0, 0.00 ERA)

The White Sox have yet to announce a game two starter for the series. Festa will go for the Twins. In Festa’s last start he pitched 4.1 innings. He allowed five hits, one walk, no runs, and struck out six in a no decision against the Mets.

Game 3: Shane Smith (0-1, 2.82 ERA) vs. Chris Paddack (0-2, 7.27 ERA)

Smith will close out the series for the White Sox. Smith faced the Red Sox in his last start. He pitched 4.2 innings allowed four hits, three runs, one home run, one walk, and three strike outs. Paddack will get the ball for the Twins. In his last start against the Braves he did not factor into the decision. He pitched five innings allowed three hits, one run, one home run, one walk, and struck out six.

Chicago White Sox

Lenyn Sosa, over his last seven games, has a .391 batting average for the White Sox. He has two runs, nine hits, one double, and two walks. It will be interesting to see how Sosa does in the upcoming series. Last year, in six games against the Twins, he had two hits, an RBI, a run scored, and a .087 batting average.

Minnesota Twins

Byron Buxton is heating up heading into the series with the White Sox. In his last seven games he has a .346 batting average and a .910 OPS. He has five runs, nine hits, one double, one triple, one home run, three RBI, and two steals. Buxton faced the White Sox in 11 games last year. He had a .375 batting average with 12 hits, two home runs, four RBI, and 11 runs scored.
