12 Runs Scored in Fifth Combined as Altoona Takes Series Opener Against Portland

The Curve got an RBI single from Keiner Delgado, an RBI double from Lonnie White Jr., an RBI double from Derek Berg, and a grand slam from Callan Moss to put up seven runs. The Sea Dogs struck back as Caden Ross hit a grand slam of his own and Franklin Arias hit a solo home run. The Curve added three in the eighth to put the game away 12-8.

Binghamton Scores Five Early to Beat Chesapeake

JT Schwartz had an RBI groundout, and Matt Rudick singled home a run. In the second, Nick Lucky scored on a balk, Gerald Ogando scored on a wild pitch, and Nick Lorusso singled home a run to make it 5-0. Jonathan Santucci went two shut-down innings; he walked one, allowed no hits, and struck out three. 

Richmond Scores Three in the Fourth, Keeps Senators at Bay

In the fourth, Charlie Szykowny hit a two-run homer, and Jean Carlos Sio doubled home a run. Harrisburg got a sacrifice fly from Kervin Pichardo in the fifth and a solo home run from Caleb Lomavita, but they held on for a 3-2 win. Trystan Vrieling went six innings, allowing a run on two hits. He walked three and struck out three, picking up the win. Cristian Alvarado picked up his second save of the season, allowing a walk and striking out two. Josh Randall for Harrisburg went seven innings, allowing three runs on six hits. He walked one and struck out seven in the loss.

Peyton Graham Drives in three as Erie beats Akron

Graham drove home one on a double in the third and two more with another double in the fourth. E.J. Exposito hit his 12th home run of the season, and Chris Meyers hit his sixth in the win. Akron scored two in the eighth on a Jaison Chourio RBI single and a Jacob Cozart RBI groundout. Carlos Pena in relief got the win, going four innings, allowing two runs on five hits. He walked one and struck out two. Trevin Michael got his second save of the season. Rafe Schlesinger got the start for Akron, going 4.2 innings, allowing four runs on eight hits. He walked two and struck out four.

Jackson Moylan leads Somerset to a win over Hartford.

The Patriots got two home runs from Jackson Moylan, who finished with three RBI in their 5-2 win. The Yard Goats did score in the ninth on a Roc Riggio solo home run. Cade Smith went six innings, allowing a run on four hits. He walked two and struck out four in the win. Jackson Cox for Hartford went six innings, allowing four runs on seven hits. He walked two and struck out eight. Josh Moylan clubbed two home runs and three RBI in the win.

Bryan Rincon hit a two-run home run in the eighth to tie the game, and Rayling Heredia hit a two-run home run to take the lead. They added in the eighth with a solo home run from Kehden Hettiger and a two-run home run from Pedro Leon. Gage Wood got the ball for Reading, allowing two runs on three hits in five innings.
