Cincinnati Reds Down on the Farm 4/2-4/7

3B – Noelvi Marte – Suspended 80 Games

RHP – Rhett Lowder – Dayton Dragons

Lowder made one start this past series going four innings without factoring in the decision. He allowed two hits, one walk, and five strikeouts, and has a 0.00 ERA and a 0.75 WHIP after one start. He will make his next start against Cedar Rapids.

SS – Edwin Arroyo—out for the Year–Chattanooga Lookouts

Arroyo is out for the seaosn.

RHP – Connor Phillips – Louisville Bats

Phillips started one game this past week going six innings, earning the win and ending with a 1.50 ERA. He gave up four hits, allowed one run, and three walks, and struck out three on the day.

RHP – Chase Petty– Chattanooga Lookouts

Petty started one game during the three-game set against the Barons. He pitched four innings, gave up six hits, four runs, one home run, two walks, three strikeouts, and finished with a 9.00 ERA on the day.

3B – Cam Collier – Dayton Dragons

Cam Collier played in three games with 13 at-bats over the weekend. He scored three runs, had five hits, one double, one home run, and four RBIs. He ended the series slashing .385/.385/.692 and had a 1.077 OPS.

3B – Sal Stewart – Dayton Dragons

Stewart played in all three games this weekend. He received 11 at-bats scoring two runs, on three hits, one RBI, and stole one base. He slashed .273/.385/.273 with a .658 OPS on the series.

SS – Richardo Cabrera – Daytona Tortugas

Cabrera played in one game this weekend going hitless in four at-bats. He walked once and struck out three times.

OF – Carlos Jorge – Dayton Dragons

Jorge played in two games in this series. He had eight at-bats, one hit, one run scored, one walk, and two stolen bases. He slashed .125/.222/.125 with a .347 OPS during his two games played.

RHP – Ty Floyd – Arizona Complex League

Floyd is on the 60-day IL

The Week Ahead

The Triple-A Louisville Bats played a six-game series against the Gwinnett Strippers the Atlanta Braves Triple-A affiliate. They lost the Series two games to four. They will host the Columbus Clippers for a new six-game series starting Tuesday, April 9th. The Clippers are the Triple-A affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians who have Kyle Manzardo ITDS 55TH ranked Prospect and Daniel Espino the 99th-ranked prospect for ITD.

The Lookouts opened their season Friday with a three-game set against the Birmingham Barons. They lost all three games to the Barons and opened the year 0-3. They will host the Tennessee Smokies for a six-game series starting Tuesday, April 9th.

The Dragons opened the year against the Lansing Lugnuts in a three-game series. They lost the opener then won the next two games to win the series two games to one. They will now travel to Cedar Rapids Kernels a Minnesota Twins Affiliate for a six-game series.
