The White Sox have recalled outfielder Junior Perez from the Charlotte Knights today. Perez was traded back in May when the White Sox grabbed him from the Athletics for left-handed pitcher Jackson Nove. Since joining the Charlotte Knights in mid-May, Perez has played in 20 games with a .230/.326/.432 slash line. He has five doubles, two triples, two home runs, and seven RBI in Triple-A.

Everson Pereira

The Chicago White Sox placed outfielder Everson Pereira on the seven-day injured list. He suffered a concussion today. This happened before their series finale with the Yankees. Pereira left the game early on June 17th after crashing into the wall. In 21 games for the White Sox this year Pereira has a .232/.299/.420 slash line. He has four doubles, three home runs, and seven RBI.
