The Chicago Cubs have recalled Gavin Hollowell from Triple-A Iowa today before their series finale with the Reds. Hollowell has yet to pitch for the Cubs this season. The Chicago Cubs have designated Corbin Martin for assignment ahead of the series finale with Cincinnati. Martin pitched in seven games for the Cubs this season.
