Baltimore Orioles Roster Transactions | Inside The Diamonds

The Baltimore Orioles will play a doubleheader against the New York Mets today after last night’s game was rained out. Due to today being a doubleheader, the roster for both teams expands to 27. The Orioles are using their extra roster spot on the left-handed pitcher Grant Wolfram. The team is recalling him from Triple-A Norfolk. In two games for Baltimore this season, he posted a 13.50 ERA. He has a 3.75 WHIP, and a strikeout in 1.1 innings. In 24 games with Triple-A Norfolk, he is 1-4. He posts a 3.62 ERA, a 1.24 WHIP, and 29 strikeouts in 27.1 innings.

Grant Wolfram

The Texas Rangers drafted Wolfram in the 18th round of the 2018 MLB Draft. Wolfram started with the Texas Rangers before moving to the Milwaukee Brewers, and now he’s with the Orioles. In his 201 career, minor league games with 25 of those coming as starts, he is 25-15. Wolfram posts a 3.97 ERA, a 1.38 WHIP, and 432 strikeouts in 356.1 innings. He pitched for the Brewers Triple-A affiliate this season in two games. He posted a 6.00 ERA, a 1.67 WHIP, and three strikeouts in three innings of work. Combined between the two teams at Triple-A, he is 1-4. Wolfram posts a 3.86 ERA, a 1.29 WHIP, and 32 strikeouts in 30.1 innings.
