Toronto Blue Jays Roster Transactions | Inside The Diamonds

The Toronto Blue Jays are coming off a massive 15-0 win last night as Jose Berrios went six shutout innings. It’s officially September call-up season as the rosters expand from 26 to 28 and the Toronto Blue Jays are calling up infielder Luis De Los Santos and LHP Brandon Eisert.

INF – Luis De Los Santos

De Los Santos made his big league debut earlier this season appearing in three games hitting .286 with a .804 OPS; he had a double, an RBI, a run scored, and a walk. He’s also appeared at three levels in the Blue Jays system playing in 47 games hitting .268 with a .861 OPS; he had sad seven doubles, a triple, seven home runs, 20 RBI, 29 runs scored, three stolen bases, and 22 walks. A majority of those games were at Triple-A Buffalo where he hit .260 with a .816 OPS; he had five doubles, six home runs, 16 RBI, 25 runs scored, three stolen bases, and 21 walks. 

LHP – Brandon Eisert 

Eisert also made his debut this season appearing in two games posting a 5.79 ERA, a 1.93 WHIP, a 7.7 BB/9, and a 0.0 K/9 in 4.2 innings. At Triple-A Buffalo he’s appeared in 37 games with four of those coming as starts he is 4-2 with a 3.99 ERA, a 1.39 WHIP, a 3.8 BB/9, and an 11.8 K/9 in 47.1 innings.
