Andrés Giménez

The Blue Jays have reinstated infielder Andrés Giménez from the 10-day injured list. The team acquired Giménez in a trade with the Cleveland Guardians, and expects him to bolster their infield depth and contribute to their success in the American League East. Andrés Giménez, in 36 games, is hitting .195 with a .577 OPS. He has five doubles, three home runs, ten RBI, 17 runs scored, nine stolen bases, and ten walks.

Tyler Heineman

The Blue Jays have reinstated catcher Tyler Heineman from the 7-day injured list. Known for his defensive skills, Heineman provides valuable depth behind the plate for the team. Heineman in 19 games hit .396 with a .953 OPS. He had four doubles, a home run, six RBI, ten runs scored, two stolen bases, and two walks.

Two Designated for Assignment

The Blue Jays have designated infielder Michael Stefanic and catcher Ali Sánchez for assignment. Stefanic, added to the roster in May, brought reliability to the infield. Sánchez, promoted from Triple-A Buffalo that same month, contributed to the team’s depth at catcher.
