Toronto Blue Jays Arizona Fall League Prospects Regular Season Wrap Up

The Toronto Blue Jays had eight players taking part in the Arizona Fall League playing for the Scottsdale Scorpions, they were RHP T.J. Brock, RHP Lazaro Estrada RHP Ryan Jennings RHP Johnathan Lavallee LHP Kendry Rojas INF Eddinson Paulino INF Adrian Pinto INF Peyton Williams. The Scorpions finished 16-14 and play tonight at 8:30 PM EST for a chance to move on to the AFL Championship.

Hitters

Paulino in 17 games hit .226 with a .595 OPS; he had a double, a home run, ten RBI, nine runs scored, a stolen base, and four walks. Pinto in 24 games hit .266 with a .708 OPS; he had two doubles, a triple, seven RBI, 12 runs scored, seven stolen bases, and 14 walks. Williams in 19 games hit .300 with a .840 OPS; he had four doubles, a triple, three home runs, 12 RBI, 11 runs scored, and seven walks.

Pitchers

The pitchers combined to go 3-2 with a 2.85 ERA, a 1.10 WHIP, and 65 strikeouts in 53.2 combined innings. T.J. Brock appeared in seven games posting a 0.00 ERA, a 0.71 WHIP, and 11 strikeouts in seven innings. Lazaro Estrada appeared in four games with one coming as a start going 1-0 with a 3.86 ERA, a 0.94 WHIP, and 19 strikeouts in 11.2 innings. Ryan Jennings appeared in eight games going 1-0 with a 0.00 ERA, an 8.00 ERA, a 0.89 WHIP, and 13 strikeouts in nine innings. Johnathan Lavallee went 1-1 in eight appearances with a 1.74 ERA, a 0.97 WHIP, and nine strikeouts in 10.1 innings. Kendry Rojas went 0-1 six appearances with five of those coming as starts posting a 5.74 ERA, a 1.60 WHIP, and 13 strikeouts in 15.2 innings.
