The Texas Rangers are off today and start a three-game series against the Houston Astros tomorrow night. The Rangers are coming off a series loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks in which they were outscored 12-10. The Rangers, despite the off day, activated right-handed pitcher Cole Winn from the 15-day injured list. They also placed left-handed pitcher Danny Coulombe on the 15-day injured list with left shoulder fatigue. The move is retroactive to September 1, 2025.

Cole Winn

Winn in 25 games this season for the Rangers is 0-1. He posts a 1.45 ERA, a 1.00 WHIP, and 26 strikeouts in 31 innings. In 17 games at Triple-A Round Rock, he went 3-1 with a 0.59 ERA, a 1.01 WHIP, and 25 strikeouts in 30.2 innings. He has appeared in 38 career big league games. Winn is 0-2 with a 3.72 ERA, a 1.10 WHIP, and 40 strikeouts in 48.1 innings. In 123 career minor league games, with 80 of those coming as starts, he is 29-25. Danny Coulombe

Coulombe this season in 11 games with the Rangers is 1-1 with a 7.56 ERA, a 1.68 WHIP, and ten strikeouts in 8.1 innings. He also pitched for the Twins this season, making 40 appearances. He went 1-0 with a 1.16 ERA, a 0.97 WHIP, and 31 strikeouts in 31 innings.
