Today was an eventful day for the Rangers Clubhouse! As expected, Jonah Heim was activated from the Bereavement list, and Sam Huff was optioned back down to AAA Round Rock to make room for Heim. Meanwhile, right-handed pitcher Jonathan Hernandez has rejoined his colleagues in the bullpen after a stint on the injured list and down in a rehab assignment with AAA Round Rock. In a corresponding move, Owen White was also sent back down to Round Rock.

Exciting news for all the enthusiastic Rangers fans out there, as the much-awaited SCHERZDAY is finally here! The right-handed pitcher, Max Scherzer, who has been recovering from a back injury that prematurely ended his 2023 season during the World Series run, is set to start his rehab assignment with the AAA Round Rock Express tomorrow, April 24th, in Round Rock, Texas. He will be pitching against the Salt Lake Bees in what is expected to be a thrilling match. Scherzer is scheduled to make a few starts with the Express before rejoining the defending World Series Champions. Fans are eagerly waiting to see him back in action, and this rehab assignment is an excellent opportunity for Scherzer to regain his form and prepare for the upcoming games.

In addition, Josh Sborz is all set to make a rehab appearance tonight in Frisco, Texas, with the AA Frisco RoughRiders, as they play against the Amarillo Sod Poodles. He is working hard to recover from an injury and could return to the Rangers as early as the end of this week. Fans are hopeful that Sborz’s rehab appearance will be successful and that he will be able to make his much-awaited comeback to the Rangers soon. This news has created a buzz among the fans, who cannot wait to see their favorite players back in action.
