The St. Louis Cardinals enter their series with the Pittsburgh Pirates with a 16-19 record. Ahead of their first game with the Pirates, they have announced three roster moves. The Cardinals are sending two right-hand pitchers to Memphis in Triple-A and have recalled one right-hand pitcher before tonight’s game.

Roddery Munoz

The Cardinals have optioned right-hand pitcher Roddery Munoz to Triple-A. Munoz will head back to Memphis after the doubleheader from yesterday and continue his season in Triple-A. He has pitched in four games so far this season for the Cardinals. Munoz has a 7.71 ERA, a 1.50 WHIP, and a .263 batting average against this year. In 4.2 innings of work, he has allowed five hits, four runs, one home run, two walks, and struck out six.

Gordon Graceffo

The St. Louis Cardinals have recalled right-hand pitcher Gordon Graceffo from Triple-A. Graceffo has pitched in two games previously this season for the Cardinals. He has earned one win in eight innings pitched. He has a 7.88 ERA, a 1.38 WHIP, and a .286 batting average against this year. In those eight innings of work, he allowed 10 hits. He gave up seven earned runs and one home run. He also allowed one walk and struck out seven.

Michael McGreevy

The St. Louis Cardinals have optioned right-hand pitcher Michael McGreevy to the Memphis Redbirds in Triple-A. McGreevy appeared in one game so far this season. He pitched 5.2 innings and earned the win. He heads back to Triple-A with a 0.00 ERA, a 0.35 WHIP, and a .056 batting average against. McGreevy struck out five while walking one batter in his only appearance so far this season for the Cardinals.
