Harry Ford was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on February 21, 2003. He played high school baseball at North Cobb High School in Kennesaw, GA. He was the top-ranked catcher and the second-ranked overall player in Georgia. At North Cobb, he hit .296 with a .486 OBP; he had 24 hits, seven doubles, two triples, five home runs, 22 RBI, and 23 runs scored. Ford was ranked the country’s top catcher and 11th overall player. He committed to play college baseball at Georgia Institute of Technology or Georgia Tech.

Ford entered the season ranked by MLB.com as the 93rd overall prospect. He played for the Mariners Single-A Modesto team and in 104 games he slashed .274/.425/.439 with a .863 OPS; he had 23 doubles, four triples, 11 home runs, 65 RBI, 89 runs scored, 23 stolen bases, and 88 walks.

Entering last season, Ford was ranked the 64th prospect by Baseball America and the 49th prospect by MLB.com. He played for the Mariners High-A affiliate Everett for 118 games and slashed .257/.410/.430 with a .841 OPS; he had 24 doubles, four triples, 15 home runs, 67 RBI, 89 runs scored, 24 stolen bases, and 103 walks. He played in the Arizona Fall League for Peoria, and in seven games, he slashed .174/.412/.609 with a 1.021 OPS; he had one double, three home runs, 11 RBI, nine runs scored, and nine walks. He also played in the Futures Game, going 0-1 with a strikeout.

ITD ranks Ford as the 36th overall prospect and the Mariners top ranked prospect. He will likely start the season at Double-A Arkansas.
