He was the top-ranked catcher and the second-ranked overall player in Georgia. At North Cobb, he hit .296 with a .486 OBP; he had 24 hits, seven doubles, two triples, five home runs, 22 RBI, and 23 runs scored. Ford was ranked the country’s top catcher and 11th overall player. He committed to play college baseball at Georgia Institute of Technology or Georgia Tech.
