Picks of the Day, 5/19

1-4 Michael Kopech faces 1-4 Zack Greinke and the Royals this evening to kick off a must-win series for the White Sox

Enjoyed a day off yesterday after getting bludgeoned on Wednesday. Picking games on a day with only 6 games is hard enough without going 0-3 the day before. I hate forcing a bet I don’t love, so I took the day to reset and get back on track before the weekend.
To quickly recap the bloodbath on Wednesday: Strider did not get over 8.5 strikeouts, the Nationals and Gore lost to the Marlins, and the Under 8.5 runs on the Sonny Gary/Dustin May matchup in LA didn’t hit.

Now 69-62 on the season. Playing it safe today to get back on the rails:
Pick #1`
Guardians @ Mets Total Runs Over 9, -105
Mets games have gone over 4 of the last 5 games…Their bats are starting to heat up. Carrasco is throwing for the Mets and he has been God awful.
Pick #2
Royals @ White Sox, White Sox Moneyline, -130
Chicago is coming off a much-needed series win vs. Cleveland. They scored 18 runs in 3 games off better pitchers than Greinke. It’s now or never for the Sox to turn this season around.
Pick #3
Dodgers @ Cardinals, Total Runs Over 8.5, -120
Cardinals bats are on fire and the Dodgers should have no problem with Steven Matz.
Bonus
3 game Moneyline Parlay; Rangers, Diamondbacks, and Rays Moneylines, +207
