Philadelphia Phillies & Detroit Tigers Make A Trade

Series Preview: Detroit Tigers at Philadelphia Phillies with Probable Pitchers 8/1-8/3

Yesterday the Philadelphia Phillies traded for Brewer Hicklen from the Brewers for Cash consideration. Hicklen will be in Leigh Valley Iron Pigs to start off his Phillies tenure. This is actually a very good trade that the Phillies did. He will play in the outfield. When the Phillies call him up from Triple-A, this will help the Phillies with their outfielder situation. The Phillies will still need bullpen help at the trade deadline big time if they want to compete in the National League. Right now the Phillies are tied for 1st place with the New York Mets.

Philadelphia Phillies Trade Deadline

I think the Phillies will make another trades before the trade deadline. The Phillies need more bullpen help. It will all depends what move Dave Dombrowski will do.

There has been a lot of trade rumors for the Phillies. Who will the phillies trade next all I will say we will see right now its a guessing game. The Phillies does need more outfielders and a bullpen to be a great team. But will it happen
The phillies offense been on there up and down. Because sometimes they will win or will lose. Right now the Phillies are being the Yankees, and Monday will be the Chicago White Sox they are the worst team in baseball
The Phillies are a very good competitor, but I don’t see them making it to the NLDS I see them making it to the Wild Card series and hopefully it will be a home game. Now let’s see what will happen during the trade deadline, will the Phillies make any good trades or will they be silent
