In eight games this season for the Mets, Soto has a .355/.412/.516 slash line. He has two doubles, one home run, and five RBI on the season. He left the game Saturday early after injuring his leg and is expected to be out 2-3 weeks.
Ronny Mauricio
The New York Mets have recalled third baseman Ronny Mauricio from Triple-A today ahead of their game with the Diamondbacks. Mauricio played in 61 games last season for New York. He had six doubles, six home runs, ten RBI, and four steals. Mauricio ended his season with a .226/.293/.369 slash line. He has played in eight games this season in Triple-A for the Syracuse Mets. Mauricio has one double, one home run, and three RBI for Syracuse. He also has three steals and has slashed .273/.294/.394 to start his season in Triple-A.
