Probable Starting Pitchers

Game 1: Zack Littell (0-4, 5.48 ERA) vs. Brandon Pfaadt (3-1, 3.04 ERA)

Littell will get the first game of the series for the Rays. He lost a tough one last time out in a one-nothing loss to the Red Sox. He pitched six innings, allowing five hits, one run, three walks, and struck out five. Pfaadt gets the start for the Diamondbacks. He beat the Marlins last time out. Pfaadt pitched 5.2 innings, allowing five hits, one run, two walks, and striking out six.

Game 2: Taj Bradley (2-1, 5.24 ERA) vs. Eduardo Rodriguez (1-2, 4.09 ERA)

Bradley will get the ball in game two for the Rays. In his last start, Bradley pitched 5.1 innings in a loss to the Yankees. He allowed nine hits, six runs, one home run, four walks, and struck out three. Rodriguez will start game two for the Diamondbacks. He earned his first win of the year last time out against the Marlins. Rodriguez pitched 5.1 innings, allowing 10 hits, three runs, one earned, and struck out nine.

Game 3: Drew Rasmussen (1-1, 0.87 ERA) vs. Corbin Burnes (0-1, 4.64 ERA)

Rasmussen will close out the series for the Rays. In his last start, he took a one-nothing loss against the Yankees. He pitched 5.2 innings, allowing three hits, one run, three walks, and striking out seven. Burnes pitched six innings last time out against the Cubs. He allowed six hits, two runs, and one home run, and struck out three.

Tampa Bay Rays

Jonathan Aranda has had a good start for the Rays this year. He enters this series with five runs, seven hits, two doubles, two home runs, five RBI, and a .292 batting average over the last seven games. Aranda did not face the Diamondbacks last year. He will look to keep up his hot start during the three game series. On the year he has a .355 batting average with four home runs, 13 RBI, and a 1.116 OPS.

Arizona Diamondbacks

Corbin Carroll is has led the team in RBI over the last seven games with nine. He has five runs, nine hits, one double, two home runs, three steals, a .300 batting average and a .856 OPS. In three games last year against the Rays he had a .273 batting average. Carroll had three hits, two home runs, four RBI, and five runs scored last year.
