Probable Starting Pitchers

Chicago Cubs vs. New York Mets

Game 1: James Taillon (2-1, 3.86 ERA) vs. Clay Holmes (4-1, 2.95 ERA)

Boyd will start the final game of the series for the Cubs. He beat the Giants in his last start. Boyd pitched six innings allowed five hits, two runs, and struck out seven. Canning will go for New York. He beat the Diamondbacks in his last start. Canning pitched five innings allowed six hits, one run, one walk, and struck out six.
