Game 1: Chris Sale (0-2, 6.17 ERA) vs. Zac Gallen 1-3, 5.60 ERA)

Sale will get the first game of the series for the Braves. In his last start, he went 4.1 innings allowing six hits, two runs, one home run, three walks, and struck out eight. He did not factor in the decision against the Twins. Gallen will get the ball for the Diamondbacks in game one. He took the loss the last time out against the Cubs. He pitched six innings allowing seven hits, six runs, two home runs, two walks, and struck out five.

Game 2: Grant Holmes (2-1, 3.22 ERA) vs. Merrill Kelly (3-1, 4.73 ERA)

Holmes will get the start in game two for the Braves. He beat the Twins the last time out. He pitched 5.2 innings allowed four hits, one run, four walks, and struck out seven. Kelly will get the ball for Arizona in game two. He did not factor in the decision last start against the Cubs. Kelly pitched 5.2 innings allowing two hits, one run, one walk, and striking out five.


Game 3: Spencer Schwellenbach (1-1, 2.56 ERA) vs. Brandon Pfaadt (4-1, 2.73 ERA)

Schwellenbach will start game three for the Braves. In his last start against the Cardinals, he was not part of the decision. He pitched seven innings allowed eight hits, three runs, two earned, and struck out five. Pfaadt will get the third and final game of the series for the Diamondbacks. He beat the Rays in his last start. He pitched six innings allowing four hits, one run, and struck out five.
