Milwaukee Brewers Roster Transactions | Inside The Diamonds

The Milwaukee Brewers face the Chicago Cubs tonight in the middle game of their series. The Brewers took game one last night, 8-4. Tonight, Quinn Priester gets the start for Milwaukee against Colin Rea for the Cubs. The Brewers, before tonight’s game, activated newly acquired catcher Danny Jansen. They also recalled right-handed pitcher Easton McGee from Triple-A Nashville. To make room for McGee, the Brewers optioned right-handed pitcher Craig Yoho to Triple-A Nashville.

Danny Jansen

Jansen, in 73 games this season with the Rays, hit .204 with a .703 OPS. He had eight doubles, 11 home runs, 29 RBI, 28 runs scored, and 33 walks. Easton McGee

In five games with the Brewers this season, he posted a 2.57 ERA, a 1.14 WHIP, and seven strikeouts in seven innings. In 23 games at Triple-A Nashville, he is 4-0 with a 4.60 ERA, a 1.31 WHIP, and 34 strikeouts in 31.1 innings.

Craig Yoho

Yoho this season in seven games posts an 8.22 ERA, a 2.22 WHIP, and five strikeouts in 7.2 innings. In 20 games at Nashville, he is 3-1 with a 0.84 ERA, a 0.94 WHIP, and 39 strikeouts in 32 innings.
